The End of An Era

Arguably the hottest woman in the history of WWE is no longer with the company. Yesterday, it was announced on wwe.com that Torrie Wilson had been released after seven years with the company. Just a few weeks ago she had announced that she had been advised not to wrestle again due to back injuries. She debuted in the now defunct WCW and immediately raised the bar for broads in wrestling.

She will leave us with such memories as the time she brought her father into wrestling and he married Dawn Marie, the Torrie/Dawn kiss, her stint with the Filthy Animals, her debut WWE appearance with Vince McMahon and the time her and Hulk Hogan went to a firing range (prompting Hogan to look at her and say "The Lord is my shepherd, I see what I want"). I'm not sure what the future holds for her in wrestling; maybe TNA could use her as a manager although they are already loaded with females. She has a clothing store in Texas. Perhaps she could do like The Black Charmer suggested awhile back and open up a Curves franchise. Regardless, the staff of Hollywood Nation wishes her the best and hopes that she has a very successful post-WWE career.
