TNA Lockdown Results

Results from tonight's TNA Lockdown show, which was a good show with an excellent main event (all matches took place in a cage):

- Jay Lethal won the X-Division Escape match over Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy, Consequences Creed, Curry Man, and Johnny Devine. Sonjay didn't turn on Lethal yet, but its coming. Good opener.

- Roxxi Laveaux pinned Angelina Love in the Queen of the Cage Match to win the right to be steamrolled by Awesome Kong on an upcoming edition of Impact.

- B.G. James beat Kip James in the first match of their soon-to-be epic feud.

- Kaz and Eric Young beat five other teams in a Handcuff Match (don't ask). Pointless. It all led up to "Super Eric" doing a run-in and winning the match.

- Gail Kim and ODB beat Cheerleader Raisha and Awesome Kong when ODB pinned Saaed.

- Booker T and Sharmell beat Robert Roode and Ms. Banks, in what looked like the end of the Booker/Roode feud. Roode started yelling at Ms. Banks after the match. The cycle repeats.

- Team Cage (Christian, Sting, Kevin Nash, Rhino and Matt Morgan) beat Team Tomko (Tomko, Team 3-D, AJ Styles and James Storm) when Rhino pinned Storm. Good match with tons of action. Nice spot with AJ and Christian going through a table on top of the cage.

- In the main event, Samoa Joe beat Kurt Angle to become the new World Champion. It was conducted as kind of an MMA/UFC style match with lots of mat work and submission holds. Really good match. Samoa Joe hit the muscle buster to win it in the end. Good show!
