News and Notes

Not much to say about Wednesday's American Idol. The show continues its demise with this awful season. It's a complete joke now with one of its best singers finishing last (although the judges used the save to keep him). Vocal talent isn't even a factor anymore. They might as well just have the contestants come out and juggle apples. This show is useless... In brighter news, The fools that run TNA Impact actually made some good decisions yesterday. They signed one of my favorite people in the wrestling business, Christy Hemme (above) to a two-year extension and moved their Monday timeslot to 7PM to 9PM (CST). In addition they brought back the Thursday replay in their old time slot of 8 to 10. Next thing you know, they'll be bringing in a new writing staff... It was reported on perezhilton.com that Kanye West will be returning to his New York hip-hop roots on his next album and has enlisted the help of producers such as No I.D., the RZA, and Pete Rock. Now that's what I'm talking about.
