I thought it was quite odd that William Regal (above) lost a "Loser Leave WWE" match last night on Raw out of nowhere. Turns out that he got suspended for failing a WWE "Wellness" test (second offense). See ya in 60, buddy!
Seriously though, this is a shame because after being in the mid-card seemingly forever, the guy was on the verge of probably his biggest push ever. Hopefully the violation was for somethng minor and he can get back on track. I'm one of his biggest fans, so I'm pulling for him. On another note, it's going to be kind of tough for WWE to give long term title pushes to Regal, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton, who are all on their second strikes. Maybe this can lead to pushes for guys like Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison and Elijah Burke. Just kidding. We'll be stuck with the same handful of guys on top for years. Anybody down for yet another triple threat title match?
