It was Obscure Mariah Carey Songs Week and Mimi made an appearance as guest mentor, just in time to promote the new CD (see below). She showed up crazy as hell, bringing her dog along. At least he was there at the start but was never seen again. Perhaps he didn't care for the contestants either. Anyway, out of all the songs that they could have chosen, they found some Mariah songs that even I wasn't familar with. What about "Honey"? How about "Heartbreaker"? What happened to "Me and Mariah Go Back Like Babies and Pacifiers"? None of the big hits and it was a pretty bland night. It will be close, but I expect Brooke to be sent home tonight. She should have gone to her sister's wedding instead of sticking around for this failure. Tonight: more Mimi!
