The Ric Flair retirement weekend concluded last night in grand fashion. At the end of the show, Flair came out to a great ovation and told us all not to be sad, because he wasn't; he had the greatest career in the history of professional wrestling. Then they brought out some of Flair's greatest partners, opponents, and superstars of today including Harley Race, Greg Valentine, Ricky Steamboat, Chris Jericho, Batista, John Cena, Dean Malenko, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and best of all the greatest group in the history of wrestling: The Four Horsemen (Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson and J.J. Dillon). Jim Ross said that it was the first time that they had been together in the ring since 1988. It really took me back. It was amazing. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer called it "the most wonderful segment on a wrestling show that I have ever seen". I couldn't agree more.
