Results of last night's WWE Night of Champions PPV from Philadelphia:

- Chris Jericho and Big Show beat Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Show debuted as Jericho's surprise partner, which is a pretty good idea. Match was said to be lackluster.

- Christian beat Tommy Dreamer for the ECW title. They hugged afterwards. Awwww.

- Kofi Kingston won a scramble match over five or six other mid-carders.

- Michelle McCool beat Melina

- Randy Orton retained the Raw title over HHH and John Cena

- Maryse beat Mickie James

- Rey Mysterio pinned Dolph Ziggler

- Jeff Hardy beat C.M. Punk to win the Smackdown title

Seemed like an average show with nothing really glaring bad or great.

WWE No Way Out Results

Results from last night's WWE No Way Out pay-per-view show from Seattle, WA:

- Triple H won the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match and became the new champ. The former champ Edge got pinned by Jeff Hardy early in the match.

- WrestleMania main eventer and the future of the company, Randy Orton, barely squeeked by the 40 year old, pudgy, son of the owner Shane McMahon in a no-DQ match.

- Shawn Michaels beat JBL clean as a sheet to get his freedom or whatever. Shawn was accompanied by his wife Nitro Girl Whisper and her massive boobs.

- Jack Swagger beat Finlay.

- Edge attacked Kofi Kingston and snuck his way into the Raw Elimination Chamber match, which he proceeded to win and take the Raw title. Good show. Next up: WrestleMania 25.

WWE Royal Rumble Results

Results from last night's Royal Rumble in Detroit:

- Jack Swagger beat Matt Hardy to retain the ECW Title

- Melina beat Beth Phoenix to win the WWE Women's Title

- John Cena beat JBL to retain the Raw World Title

- Edge beat Jeff Hardy to win the Smackdown World Title. Matt Hardy turned heel on his brother to lead to the finish.

- Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble.

Genesis Results

- Homicide won a six-man elimination match with LAX and Eric Young vs. Sonjay Dutt, Jimmy Rave and Kiyoshi

Big shout-out to Jeff Hardy, who finally was awarded the WWE Heavyweight title tonight at the WWE Armageddon pay-per-view show in Buffalo, New York. This honor was long overdue, but I'm just glad that they finally gave the guy a chance. Other results from the show:

TNA Bound For Glory IV Results

Results from last night's TNA Bound For Glory show from Chicago, which I watched on pay-per-view, although train-lag caught up to me and I fell asleep in the middle of this:

- Jay Lethal won a match over several X Division guys where he had to climb up a cage structure and climb through a hole at the top. Lots of good moves and fast action, but the concept was stupid. I thought Jimmy Rave got his neck broken at one point. No more climbing matches.

- Rhino, ODB and Rhaka Kahn beat The Beautiful People and Kip James when Rhino pinned Kip. Note to TNA: Please stop calling your women "bimbos". They did a fun segment where Rhino wrestled against Velvet Sky. Best part was the Beautiful People's ring entrance.

- Shiek Abdul Bashir beat Consequences Creed to retain the X Division title.

- Taylor Wilde beat Awesome Kong and Roxxi to retain the Knockouts Title, when Taylor pinned Roxxi. Good match.

- Beer Money retained the tag team titles when they beat LAX, Team 3D and Matt Morgan & Abyss in a Monster's Ball match. Former Chicago Bear and Four Horesman, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, was the special referee. This is the match where I began my decent into slumber (nothing to do with the match; it had just been a long day). Apparently, Abyss went through a flaming table. I will have to go back and watch this.

- Booker T won a three-way over Christian Cage and A.J. Styles when Booker pinned Cage.

- Jeff Jarrett beat Kurt Angle in a good match. Mick Foley was the outside of the ring referee and took a sick chairshot at one point. He came back with Mr. Socko, which led to Jeff hitting Kurt with the guitar and Mick counting the pin.

- Sting won the TNA World Title with his victory over Samoa Joe. Good match. They brawled out into the crowd at one point and Joe did a crazy move where he leaped out of the stands and dropkicked Sting on the stairs. Insanity. At the end, Kevin Nash hit Joe with a baseball bat to set up the Sting pin. Good show.

WWE No Mercy Results

Results from last night's WWE No Mercy pay-per-view show in Seattle:

- Matt Hardy beat Mark Henry to retain the ECW title

- Beth Phoenix beat Candice Michelle to retain the Women's Title

- Rey Mysterio beat Kane by DQ

- There was a confrontation between MVP, C.M. Punk, and Kofi Kingston against Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes and Manu

- Batista beat JBL. It was described as a glorified squash.

- Undertaker beat Big Show by KO

- Triple H beat Jeff Hardy to retain the Smackdown World Title

- Chris Jericho beat Shawn Michaels to retain the Raw World Title

Most sources seemed to agree that it was an excellent show and that the Jericho/HBK match was a possible match of the year candidate.

TNA No Surrender Results

Results from tonight's TNA No Surrender PPV show from outside of Toronto, CA:

- Curry Man, Shark Boy, and Super Eric beat The Rock N Rave Infection and Christy Hemme when Curry Man pinned Christy. Christy looked hot and Curry Man kept trying to feel her up, succeeding on several occasions. This is why you go to wrestling school. Good opener.

- Awesome Kong beat ODB in a falls count anywhere match. Good match, but I cringed a couple of times when they were going through tables. I was glad that they kept Kong strong.

- Abyss and Matt Morgan beat Team 3D. Abyss and Morgan are too huge sombitches. They won but it looked like they are on the verge of a breakup already.

- Sheik Abdul Bashir beat Consequences Creed and Petey Williams to win the X Division title. The Canadian crowd went wild over Williams, especially when he did the Canadian Destroyer. They should have had the hometown guy win.

- Taylor Wilde beat Angelina Love to retain the Knockouts Title. First of all, they need to get Billy Gunn out of the Beautiful People because he is RUINING THE ACT! With that said, somehow he managed not to ruin their great ring entrance. Velvet Sky. Velvet Sky. Good grief. Rhino was in Taylor's corner. The actual match was good. Four stars alone for Velvet's outfit.

- Sonjay Dutt beat Jay Lethal in a ladder match when So Cal Val hit Lethal with a low blow and allowed Dutt to grab the ring to "win" her. Ridiculous. Val and Dutt made out after the match, prompting Mike Tenay to yell "someone get a hose!"

- Beer Money Inc. beat LAX. I fell asleep during this match. I have a lot going on. I was told that Beer Money won. Apparently Salinas (Shelly Martinez) has left the company. I'm not happy about this.

- Frank Trigg beat A.J. Styles in an MMA match. The live crowd turned on this and yelled out "we want wrestling" and "Fire Russo". Not good when audiences are constantly asking you to fire the booker. Take the hint. The feed went out for about three minutes. Pittsburgh was beating Cleveland. Terrible game for prime time. When the feed came back, A.J. was beating Trigg with a kendo stick.

- Samoa Joe beat Christian Cage and Kurt Angle to retain the World Title. Booker T was supposed to be part of this but he never made it out of Houston because of the hurricane. Sting came out to fight Samoa Joe at the start but he returned to the back. Good match. At the end, Jeff Jarrett came out to little reaction and hit Angle with the guitar. Joe got the pin on Angle. This sets up Samoa Joe vs. Sting for next month's Bound For Glory.

WWE SummerSlam Results

Results from tonight's SummerSlam show, a WWE pay-per-view show that I actually watched for a change:

- MVP beat Jeff Hardy. Shelton Benjamin caused a distraction at the end to set up the victory.

- Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella won the Women's Title and the I-C Title by beating Kofi Kingston and Mickie James when Beth pinned Mickie.

- Shawn Michaels came out with his wife presumably to announced his retirement. Chris Jericho interrupted. Michaels moved out of the way as he was about to get sucker punched by Jericho, but the punch ended up hitting Michaels' wife, knocking her to the mat. Poor Whisper. Good angle and good acting by everyone. HBK tended to his wife instead of going after Jericho.

- Matt Hardy beat Mark Henry by DQ in less than a minute. Thankfully they kept it short. Tony Atlas interferred and Jeff Hardy made the save. The Hardys aren't having much luck with the brothers tonight.

- C.M. Punk beat JBL to retain the Raw title in a decent match. A sigh of relief for JBL not getting the belt.

- Triple H beat The Great Khali. Next.

- Batista beat John Cena clean. Good back and forth match. Cena is officially a scrub.

- Undertaker beat Edge in a great Hell in the Cell match. At one point they knocked over a side of the cage and the action spilled outside. After Taker got the win, he went back into the cage and chokeslammed Edge off of a ladder and through the mat. Then flames came out of the hole. I guess he's never coming back.

TNA Hard Justice Results

Results from last night's TNA Hard Justice PPV from New Jersey. It was a good show but would have been much more enjoyable by applying the most basic wrestling logic and scaling back on the weapons. Otherwise a fine show:

- Petey Williams beat Consequences Creed to retain the X Division title. Good action and the crowd was really into it. They cheered Petey and booed Creed. The artist formerly known as Davari attacked Creed to lead to the finish.

- Gail Kim, ODB, and Taylor Wilde beat The Beautiful People and Awesome Kong. Fun match. Still love the The PB's entrance.

- Beer Money Inc. beat LAX to win the tag team titles. Good match, perhaps the best of the night. Storm hit Homicide with a bottle to gain the victory.

- Jay Lethal beat Sonjay Dutt in a chain/tuxedo match. The stipulations hurt the match instead of enhancing it.

- Christian Cage and Rhino beat Team 3D in a New Jersey Street Brawl. They fought all over and used all kinds of weapons. Good match.

- A.J. Styles beat Kurt Angle in a last man standing match. Great match. These two guys are incredible. I wish Kurt would take some time off to rest. They teased taking Kurt off on a stretcher at the end, but A.J. attacked him again. On his way up the ramp, the lights went off and Sting gave him the reverse DDT. It appears that Sting may really be going heel. No one wants to see that.

- Samoa Joe beat Booker T in a cage match with weapons. This was overkill. It would have been so much better with just a straight wrestling match. The weapons made it feel like an ECW brawl from 1997. That was not a compliment. At the end the lights went out again and a guitar appeared which Joe used on Booker to get the pin. I guess Jeff Jarrett is coming back.

WWE Great American Bash Results

Back in the glory days of the NWA, The Great American Bash used to mean Nikita Koloff and Magnum T.A. in the best of seven series, Ric Flair defending the title for 30 days against 30 different opponents, the Rock and Roll Express and Midnight Express in a street fight, and half-filled outdoor stadiums. But now we have the sanitized WWE-version of the GAB. Not quite the same. Results from last night's pay-per-view show:

- In the opener, Hawkins and Ryder became the new WWE Smackdown tag champs by winning a four-way over former champs Miz and Morrison, Finlay and Hornswoggle and Biscuit & Gravy.

- Shelton Benjamin beat Matt Hardy for the U.S. title.

- Mark Henry beat Tommy Dreamer to retain the ECW title. Colin Delaney turned against Dreamer. That should make for an exciting little eight month feud on Tuesdays.

- Chris Jericho beat Shawn Michaels when the ref stopped it because HBK was taking too much punishment. Jericho later came out and declared that HBK's career was over due to a detached retina.

- Michelle McCool beat Natalya to become the new WWE Divas champion.

- C.M. Punk and Batista went to a no-contest when Kane interefered.

- JBL beat John Cena in a street fight match.

- Triple H beat Edge to retain the Smackdown world title. Vickie and The Hot Little Wedding Planner went at it near the end.

- The show sounded better on paper.

TNA Victory Road Results

Results from last night's TNA Victory Road pay-per-view show in Houston, TX:

- Alex Shelley won the 12 Man Elimination X Cup Match. Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun match that went about a half hour. Great opener.

- Gail Kim beat Angelina Love. Good match, but honestly the best part was the Beautiful People's ring entrance. Is there anything funnier then when Angelina points to her bum and says "here it is, boys"? As for Velvet Sky, when she puts on her jeans, they fit. Amazing.

- Sonjay Dutt beat Black Machismo. Kinda lame. The love triangle continues.

- LAX beat Beer Money. Twelve fans were around the ring and whipped Storm and Roode whenever they went to the floor. Decent match.

- Taylor Wilde beat Awesome Kong to retain the Knockouts Title. Good match. Afterwards, Abyss saved Taylor from a post-match attack.

- Volador Jr. won the Ultimate X Match. Good match with some dangerous spots including Kaz doing a legdrop off the top of one of the structures. This victory gave Team Mexico the victory in the tournament.

- Kurt Angle and Team 3D beat Christian Cage, Rhino and A.J. Styles when Angle pinned Styles after interference from Frank Trigg. Good match. Trigg cracks me up. It appeared that D-Von hurt his ankle.

- I think the main event ended in a no-contest-- or Booker T is the new TNA Champion. I guess we will find out on Thursday. At the end, Samoa Joe was beating on Booker T and half the city of Houston came out to save him and Joe promptly destroyed them all. Sharmell was in the ring pleading with him to stop. Finally Sting came out and Joe followed him to the back-- but about halfway up the ramp he ran back and returned to beating on Booker. Sting came back and told him to stop. Joe gave him the finger and said "F*** You!". Sting beat up Joe with the bat. Booker covered Joe and Sharmell of all people counted to three and they left with the belt. To be continued on Impact.

WWE Night of Champions Results

Results from last night's Night of Champions pay-per-view show:

- Jeff Hardy beat MVP in the dark match. Quite a push for the "highest paid man on Smackdown".

- Miz and Morrison retained the WWE tag team titles by beating Hornswoggle and Finlay. The Fake Lizard King beat the short guy to secure the win.

- Matt Hardy retained the U.S. title by beating Chavo Guerrero. I almost fell asleep just typing that result.

- Mark Henry (above) became the new ECW Champion with his victory over Kane and Big Show. We have won, we have won!

- Ted DiBiase Jr. and Dusty Rhodes Jr. became the new World Tag Team Champions when Cody turned heel on Bob Holly and joined forces with DiBiase. Predictable, but I'm down with it.

- Kofi Kingston upset Chris Jericho to become the new Intercontinental Champion. They should change the title of this show to Night of the Brothers. I guess they had to get the title off of Jericho since the I-C belt would be beneath HBK once he beats Jericho in their upcoming feud.

- Mickie James retained the Women's Title with a victory over mega-hot Katie Lea Burchill.

- My Boy Edge beat Batista with a ton of interference to keep the World Title.

- Triple H beat John Cena (who is fast becoming a scrub) to retain his WWF title. Maybe they will have a rematch soon since one of the world belts has to move to Raw at some point.

TNA Slammiversary Results

Results from last night's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view show, held outside of Memphis, TN:

- In the opener, Petey Williams beat Kaz (with same help from Scott Steiner and Rhaka Khan). Abyss returned to save Kaz from a post-match beating. Good opener.

- Gail Kim, ODB, and Roxxi beat The Beautiful People and Moose.

- LAX beat Team 3D.

- Awesome Kong issued the $25,000 challenge and beat up two women out of the crowd. Brutal! Eric Young brought out an Elvis imitator and Kong destroyed him too.

- The wedding between Jay Lethal and So Cal Val was a fiasco. Predictibly, Sonjay Dutt declared his love for So Cal Val and stopped the wedding. Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Koko B. Ware, Kamala and George "The Animal" Steele were all there in tuxedos and beat up Dutt afterwards. Lame.

- A.J. Styles pinned Kurt Angle clean in a good match. A.J. got beat up by Angle and Tomko afterwards.

- Samoa Joe won the King of the Mountain match over Booker T, Christian Cage, Rhino and Robert Roode. Kevin Nash didn't turn against Joe.

- Decent show.

WWE One Night Stand Results

Yes, there was yet another WWE PPV show last night. The results:

- Jeff Hardy beat Umaga in a Falls Count Anywhere match when Jeff jumped off the top of a production truck and landed (off camera) on Umaga.

- The Big Show beat a bunch of ECW mid-carders to gain a shot at the ECW Title

- John Cena beat JBL in a First Blood match

- Beth Phoenix beat Melina by submission

- Batista beat Shawn Michaels in a Stretcher Match. Chris Jericho interfered, but still hasn't done the big turn yet.

- Triple H beat Hazelwood's own Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match. Triple H threw Orton over the top rope and in the process Orton may have broken his collarbone. Sucks to be him.

- Edge beat The Undertaker in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match to win the WWE Title. And due to the stipulations, Undertaker must now leave WWE "forever". Well, at least he had a good run. I predict that he will be back tomorrow.
