Last night I watched the series premiere of The Client List, the latest collaboration between Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jennifer Love Hewitt's Rack. Until last night, I was unaware that my cable provider even carried Lifetime. If you missed it, the show stars JLH as a single mother who starts doing "extras" at a massage parlor so that she doesn't lose her house. And we only made it about 30 minutes before her character had the word "WHORE" hilariously written across her car. It was a good first outing, but I'm not sure where the storylines can go from here. I may give it another chance next week. Regardless, hopefully we're one step closer to JLH just cashing in and doing late night Cinemax movies.

Zack Morris and The Roots
Jimmy Fallon's dream of reuniting the Saved By the Bell cast came one step closer on Monday night when "Zack Morris" was a guest on his show and agreed to the reunion. Funny stuff. He even played with The Roots at the end of the segment. Looks like this reunion may happen. Only Screech and Kelly left to go!:

24: Redemption

The show 24 returned last night for a 2-hour movie and holy smokes it was great. If you missed it, try to catch a replay or you can buy it on DVD on Tuesday. Can't wait for the new season in January!

90210 Review

I caught the series premiere of the heavily hyped new 90210 on the CW last night. I missed the first 20 minutes because I forgot it was on, but I caught the rest. In my view, I thought it was pretty good. I had trouble keeping up with the characters at first but I figured it out by the end. It was also good to see familiar faces like Rob Estes, the lady from Full House, and of course Kelly and Brenda. Even Nat was back; the Pitch Pit had predictably been turned into a coffee place. They even have a black kid now (of course he was adopted). It's going to be a tough balance to focus on the kids and the older characters. Hopefully they will just spin-off the old characters and give them their own show. Can you imagine Steve Sanders, Dylan and that crazy broad who almost burned down Brandon's house back on the same show again? Tell me that wouldn't beat One Tree Hill!

Returing Favorites
What would I do without VH-1? They finally announced a second season of what was perhaps my favorite reality show: Charm School. In the upcoming season, Sharon Osborne will take over the Mo'nique role and the girls will be from the first two seasons of Rock of Love this time. The freaks will be fighting for a $100,00 grand prize. Guaranteed to be skank-o-licious!And not to be outdone, the good folks over at the CW announced that they would be bringing back a modern day version of 90210 in the fall season. It will focus on a new batch of kids but the big news is that some of the stars from the old show will be returning. Kelly and Donna have reportedly already signed on and perezhilton.com reported today that Steve Sanders could be a possibility. Could Nat from the Peach Pit be far behind? And in even bigger news, they have a black guy in the cast! Holy shit! I am so stoked!
