I love writing about Hollywood gossip, Britney, and ridiculous wrestling giveaways, but I dread writing about stuff like this. I was as shocked as everyone else by the death of NBC political analyst Tim Russert. I loved to hear his take on the big political stories of the day because he was always fair, explained things easily and was very knowledgeable. It was comforting to turn to NBC and see him talking about the latest big story. He had a such an enthusiasm for politics that you couldn't help but be excited about it yourself. He will be missed.
